Running Around the World

Eating properly is a very important component in having a balanced lifestyle. Therefore, the point of my game is to get your person to run around the world as quickly possible. The person has the potential to run around the world quickly, if you feed them the proper foods. Therefore, you have the option of feeding them fruits and veggies or junk food. It would be more beneficial for your final score to feed your person the healthier food options, so they can have the optimum amount of energy to complete their journey around the world.

You be the Negotiator

The game You be the Negotiator! is designed to be a single player online news game along the lines of games like Cutthroat Capitalism or Tenure. In this game, the player takes on the role of the negotiator in the Belgian government coalition talks. The game opens with an introductory screen that sets ups the context of the negotiations along with some background information on game play. In this case, the game is set on June 14th, 2010, a day after the federal elections in Belgium.

Getting to Class

This is a flash based game where the main game board is the birds eye view of the campus (originally created by Design Services) while interacting with challenges on the way - crossing the road, avoiding a squirrel throwing acrons at you, filing a FAFSA, and jumping over the puddle in front of Combs. When you reach these places the screen shoots, Pokemon style, to the challenge screens. You must get from Eagle Village to Combs in under 10 minutes.

Cowboys and Indians

There are two sides to choose from with no maximum of players.

Cowboys
Weapon- Cap Guns
Super Skill- Accuracy

Indians
Weapon- Sling Shots
Super Skill- Sneak

Basic Background: Imagine a 6 year old saying this at the beginning of the game- sort of the quick rules...

Our Plundered Seas

The game I envisioned is called “Plundered Seas”. It is a Sims-type game, similar to the McDonalds game studied in class. It is single player and involves an interface of different choices one can make regarding fishing. Your avatar is a fisherman, yet this is not necessarily represented in the game (it is like you are looking out onto these scenes, putting the player behind the computer directly into the situation). There are two locations between which you can travel and make decisions. The first is the Seaside Town.

Tiger Hunt

Tiger Hunt is a fairly simple video game. You are a poacher in India and the goal is to make money off of tigers. This can only be done by directly hunting tigers if you see them. This will not be often though, because they are rare. Your character moves slowly through the jungle unless you decide to cut down some of the vegetation. Then you can move more quickly through the forest and increase the distance you cover, increasing your chances of finding tigers. When you do come across a tiger, you have the option to hunt it with your rifle.

The Gay Rights Game

Set of cards under 5 main topics.
Two or more players, one homosexual, at least one heterosexual.
Roll a dice to determine orientation.
First player to roll a 3 is homosexual..
Only one player regardless of number of players can be homosexual.
Take turns drawing a card. When you draw a card you read the situation and the outcome for your sexual orientation. If the outcome is negative or if you already have a card from that category, you discard the card. If the outcome is positive then you keep the card.

Procrastinator

Overview:
In Procrastinator, the player's goal is to cross the playing field and complete Assignments. This must be done within the time limit and while avoiding Anxieties. When time runs out or the player complete all Assignments on the field, the game progresses to the next week. The player may use an Out to clear the field of Anxieties, but will suffer penalties the next week. The game ends once the player reaches the end of week 15, or when their grade reaches F.
